xiouping aka (TNT) Taiwanese & Texan, An American New Genres artist.

xiouping's (she,her,they,them) work explores the intersections of identity politics and storytelling . Through her performances, they span time meditating on the diaspora of animacy, They/she delves into the complexities of her indigenous shamanic Taiwanese and Cherokee-European ancestry looking through a non- binary and bi-racial lens, examining the relationship between performer and audience, deconstructing oppressive systems and challenging societal norms in order to reclaim agency and subvert dominant narratives.

xiouping has made significant contributions to the arts through her independent Zines and Essays such as "Can I Get a Witness", "Addick", "Herstory is a Weapon" and "WoManifesto", and her first book "Reflections" which is set to be in the Otis College Library in Fall 2021. Her work has been funded by non-profits, grants and patrons of the arts. She has also directed music videos such as Diamond D's "I Cant Lose" and The Veldts' "Sweeter".

With a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and an MFA from Otis College in Los Angeles 2021. xiouping has exhibited her work in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City and Mexico City. Currently, she resides in Venice Beach, where she continues to create and inspire."
