xiouping aka (TNT) Taiwanese & Texan, An American new genres research based artist.

​I-Feminist, Eco Feminist xiouping's work examines identity politics through story telling. A reconstruction of her existence spanning time meditating on the diaspora of animacy. Her performances investigate myth making/story telling through a queer bi-racial lens of indigenous shamanic Taiwanese, and Cherokee-European ancestry, taking back her agency and narrative, using the relationship between performer and audience, dismantling racism, sexism, and the human condition.

xp has published independent Zines & Essays “can I get a witness”, “addick”, “herstory is a weapon”, “WoManifesto” and recently she published her 1st book called “Reflections” the book will be in the Otis College Library, Fall 2021. Her work has been funded by non profit, grants and patrons of the arts.

She has a BFA from San Francisco Art Institute, and a MFA from Otis College + Social Practice in Los Angeles in spring 2021. She has showed works in San Francisco, New York, LA and Mexico City. Currently shed lives in Venice Beach.
